Why we diagnose before we quote

Most of the calls we take start with a symptom rather than a cause. A gate that won’t close is blamed on the opener, when the real problem is a photo-eye nudged out of alignment or a lens filmed over with dust. A gate that drags is blamed on the motor straining, when a post has shifted in the clay and the gate is no longer hanging true.

So a technician looks at the gate first, then gives you an itemized price. You approve that price before any work starts. It is slower than quoting over the phone, and it is the reason we don’t come back out for the same fault a month later.

What we will tell you honestly

When an operator is worth repairing, we repair it. A capacitor, a control board, a limit switch, a worn roller — those are routine, and a working gate is cheaper than a new one.
